the Position The Software Development Engineer works closely with
the Localization Solutions Engineer to research, analyze and implement the development
and design of software used to support localization and project management processes.
The ideal candidate will excel at working independently and will possess strong
troubleshooting and solution design skills. Essential functions of the position
include application software design, application software development/programming,
requirements analysis and debugging/troubleshooting software problems This
is an in-office position located in San Francisco, California. Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant
work experience
- 2+ years experience working with: Apache, Tomcat, MySQL,
PHP, JAVA/JSP, HTML, jQuery, AJAX, CSS
- Strong Unix/Linux skills required
- Experience
in the localization and translation industry a plus
