The QA Lead performs final linguistic and format proofing of translated documentation. S/he works in a variety of languages, but command of at least one foreign language is required. In this role, the QA Lead performs the final quality assurance review of translations to ensure that consistency/accuracy of formatting, stylistic consistency across languages, adherence to client specifications, and style guides is maintained.

The QA Lead will assist in researching queries raised by linguists and will be involved minimally in project coordination with internal and external proofreaders and/or linguists.

The ideal candidate will have experience with translation memory (TM) tools and must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Given the volume of translated documentation, successful candidates will have excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.

This position is located in the Boulder/Denver area.

• Experience in translation, editing, and/or proofreading required
• Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills required
• Knowledge of at least one foreign language required
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience with translation memory (TM) tools required
• Must be detail-oriented, conscientious and technically savvy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Interested in continuous improvement/training
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Organized with an attention to detail is a must
• Team player with an ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Fluency in or knowledge of foreign languages a strong plus
