About the Position

The Marketing Communications Specialist (MCS) is primarily responsible for the execution of internal and external communications programs. In this role, the MCS participates in the design and development of marketing messages including articles, newsletters, electronic media, and direct marketing materials. This may also include but is not limited to materials and messages to enable sales funnel activities.

In addition, the MCS is responsible for distributing marketing materials through existing channels and for facilitating client satisfaction surveys. Furthermore, s/he participates in event planning and design to support exhibits at relevant industry events. The MCS further maintains company style and branding guidelines and ensures that affected communications adhere to defined guidelines.

Successful candidates will have 1-2 years experience in Marketing Communications and an advanced degree (BS/BA) in a related field. S/he is open minded, professional and has cultural awareness. In addition, the ideal candidate has outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and a strong working knowledge of relevant software applications. Native command of English is essential. Fluency in one or more foreign languages is highly desired.

This position is located in the Bend, OR area (remote office arrangement).

Skills/Qualifications

  • Completed four-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism required
  • At least 1-2 years experience working as a Marketing Communications Specialist or in a similar capacity
  • Native command of written and verbal English required

  • Good PC skills required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications required
