the Position To support the development of our Web-based technology
solutions, we are seeking a part-time freelance/contract Front-end Web Designer
/ Developer to create the layout and prototype for new functionality using existing
styles. Furthermore, the responsibilities include updating and improving these
styles where needed and grow with the solutions as we add new features. Specific
Tasks- Layout new functionality with usability in mind
- Continue
to develop style sheets, suggest and implement improvements to existing styles
- Develop
backwards compatible and cross-browser layouts for client-facing Web pages, test
and QA updates for compatibility
- Work closely with internal PHP developer
to implement updates
- Transition existing Excel-based reports to online
versions and work with PHP developer to develop dynamic pages
Skills/Qualifications
- Must have expertise in page layout, graphic design, and user interaction
design
- Able to transform designs into elegant and efficient code using
HTML and CSS
- Some PHP experience is preferred but not essential as a programmer
will convert static HTML into dynamic pages
