the Position The Business Development Manager
is responsible for identifying key buyers, making cold calls, building
relationships, determining needs and selling appropriate localization services
and solutions. This is a pure outside sales role with travel required on an as-needed
basis. The ideal candidate will have direct sales experience selling services
within the life science vertical and experience using related CRM software packages.
Successful candidate will have experience and demonstrated success with a million
dollar plus quota. In this role, the Business Development
Manager: - Drives the lead generation process
- Develops account
and strategic sales plans
- Identifies $100k+ opportunities within companies
- Provides
consultative services to proactively identify opportunities for developing value-added
client solutions. This includes understanding the client's processes and industry
as well as recognizing changing client needs and expectations.
- Manages
and reports against robust sales pipeline
Successful
candidate will have at least five years experience selling services into a highly
professional clients and managing client relationships. Taking initiative and
developing technical competencies quickly are highly desired abilities. In addition,
successful candidates are creative, goal-driven, and show follow-through to ensure
success. Self-confidence and professional demeanor are essential. This
is a home-office position, but the successful applicant must be able to travel. Aggressive
salary package depending upon experience, base plus commission. Skills/Qualifications
- Fluent communication skills of verbal and written English required
- Previous
experience selling localization solutions required
- At least five years
experience selling services required
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Completed
bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- Self-confident

- Solid PC skills required, including experience with a
CRM system
- Experience selling into life science companies highly desired
